The Against Child Abuse charity was founded by a local Northampton family, horrified by cases of child abuse highlighting the appalling state of the child protection system in this country, as well as the appalling lack of resources available to help people. We decided enough is enough and set up the charity in order to help victims and families affected by the issue.
The charity is dedicated to raising awareness of the true extent and prevalence of the issue, not reported in mainstream media and by affiliating with other grassroot support organisations, we are building a strong support network. We intend using our funds to support victims and survivors directly with counselling, therapy, healing workshops as well as legal and judiciary costs… or just a cup of tea and a chat!
We are currently focusing on building a substantial fund base by organising fundraising events such as the ‘Race To End Child Abuse’, as well as public events such as the ‘UK Rally Against Child Abuse’, an opportunity for victims, survivors and campaigners to come together, realise they are not alone and stand united for the cause.
The ultimate aim of the Charity is to create a peaceful child protection movement by encouraging a common realisation that the UK authorities do not have the best interests of our children at heart and therefore we must take back the responsibility of protecting our children and all children ourselves.
Reports of child abuse, physical, sexual and neglect are increasing. Filmed child rape and brutal abuse (aka child ‘porn’) has exploded at an alarming rate. Child stealing by the state and forced adoption has become a huge problem, with children being taken from innocent families and placed in high-risk abusive situations.
The sexualisation of children through medias including TV, magazines, popular music, fashion and the Internet is another growing problem. Children in state primary and secondary schools are being exposed to explicit sexual material pushed by big contraceptive companies and endorsed by the authorities.
Sex sells – we get it! But the consumer boundaries are being crossed and what used to be an adult only industry is now being pushed onto our innocent and impressionable children.
Children are becoming a billion dollar business and it must stop!
We must all take responsibility for protecting all children from all forms of abuse – because they are our future.
Please have a look through our site and feel free to contact us if you would like to get involved, we would love to hear from you!
Thank you for your kind support, for the children.
